For years, Near-Life has enabled organisations to create immersive, interactive learning experiences using our platform.
But alongside the platform itself, there’s something else we’ve increasingly been doing behind the scenes: working directly with organisations to design and produce immersive training experiences for them.
In fact, that’s actually where Near-Life began.
Before Near-Life became a platform, we were creating immersive, scenario-based learning experiences and video simulations for organisations that wanted more realistic, engaging and effective training than traditional e-learning could provide.
Over time, that work evolved into the Near-Life platform itself – giving organisations the tools to create branching scenarios, interactive video learning, simulations and immersive experiences internally.
However, one thing has become increasingly clear in recent years: many organisations want the outcomes of immersive learning, but don’t necessarily want the burden of producing it themselves.
Especially in sectors where:
- The stakes are high
- Internal teams are already stretched
- Content needs to be operationally accurate
- And realistic decision-making matters
That’s why we’re officially launching our ‘Immersive interactive content made for you’ service.
Immersive interactive content made for you

A dedicated service where the Near-Life team partners directly with organisations to design and produce immersive learning experiences using the Near-Life platform.
This includes:
- Branching scenario learning
- Interactive video training
- Immersive compliance learning
- Judgement and decision-making simulations
- Onboarding and communication training
- VR and 360° learning experiences
Built on real-world delivery experience
Although this is a newly formalised service offering, it’s built on work we’ve already delivered with organisations including:
These projects have ranged from communication and behavioural training through to complex operational and high-stakes learning scenarios.
Through this work, we’ve consistently seen the same challenge emerge:
Organisations increasingly recognise that passive e-learning often isn’t enough for developing judgement, communication and real-world decision-making skills, but many also lack the internal time, resources or specialist expertise to create immersive learning experiences effectively themselves.
Not every organisation wants to become a content studio

Some organisations absolutely want full authoring capability internally and Near-Life continues to support that through the platform. But others want a different model:
- A partner to help shape the learning approach
- Specialist immersive learning expertise
- Support with scripting and interaction design
- Production capability
- And a faster route to launch
This service is designed for those organisations. Depending on your needs, we can support:
- Fully managed immersive learning production
- Collaborative co-creation with internal teams
- Or blended approaches combining internal authors with Near-Life expertise
Moving beyond passive learning
Traditional e-learning often focuses on information delivery.
Immersive learning focuses on experience, judgement and consequence.
Instead of simply telling learners what to do, immersive interactive learning allows them to:
- Make decisions
- Navigate realistic situations
- Practise communication
- Explore consequences
And build confidence in safe environments
This is particularly valuable in:
- Healthcare
- Emergency response
- Compliance-heavy industries
- Leadership and communication training
- Onboarding
- Humanitarian and operational environments
A natural next step for Near-Life

For us, this launch is less about creating something entirely new and more about formally expanding a capability that has existed at the heart of Near-Life from the beginning.
We believe organisations should have the flexibility to:
- Create immersive learning internally using the platform
- Work collaboratively with us
- Or let our team handle the production process entirely
The goal is the same in every case: creating immersive learning experiences that feel realistic, engaging and meaningful – and that genuinely help people prepare for real-world situations.
If you’d like to explore what immersive interactive learning could look like for your organisation, we’d love to talk.
