We are seeking a Marketing and Content Assistant to support aspects of our marketing and learning content activity. The role is being part-funded through the UK government’s Kickstart scheme.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Updating content and helping manage our ‘Academy’ website designed to support our user community
- Creating content marketing material to be shared on our website and across social media
- Helping maintain our social media presence
- Updating and collating information for our weekly/ monthly reporting
- Supporting event coordination
- General administration and planning support
You’ll need…
Essential skills:
- Good time management
- Excellent attention to detail
Desirable:
- Some experience of producing video or written content is desirable
- Willingness to learn new software
- A related qualification in English, Creative Writing, Marketing, Journalism or Media Production is an asset
Hours: on-site 9.00am-5.00pm Tues – Thurs at our offices on the Campus at the University of Bolton with a further half-day of remote working.

The successful applicant will be an integral member of the team and we will provide support around the following areas:
- 1 hour per week mentorship to help you develop job-readiness skills, ie: attendance, workplace behaviours, time management, communication and teamwork, CV writing and interview skills
- Software training – you’ll learn how to use Canva, Vyond, Near-Life CREATOR and our LMS to publish learning content
- £9.50 hour
