An interactive experience from Near-Life
March 8th 2025 is International Women’s Day. To mark the occasion, we’ve put together a short, interactive scenario highlighting pay inequity using Near-Life’s AI-powered features.
In this immersive interactive scenario, users step into the shoes of a professional facing pay inequality in the workplace. After discovering that a male colleague with the same role earns more, the user must decide how to address the issue with their manager.
To guide them, users have the opportunity to consult AI-driven chatbots representing some of history’s most influential women, with each offering unique perspectives, strategies, and encouragement.
AI-powered trailblazers
Harriet Tubman urges users to unite with others, emphasising the power of collective action and unwavering determination. Maya Angelou reminds them that their voice is powerful, encouraging self-respect, courage, and the strength to speak up. Ruth Bader Ginsburg provides a legal and strategic approach, advising on how to use facts, persistence, and structured arguments to make a compelling case. Amelia Earhart instills confidence, inspiring users to take bold steps without fear.
Marie Curie advocates for using data and logic to present evidence of one’s worth, while Emmeline Pankhurst pushes for direct action, suggesting petitions, organised discussions, and advocacy. Barbara Castle highlights the importance of workplace policies and legislative backing, urging users to challenge systemic issues head-on. Ichikawa Fusae provides a methodical, collective approach, emphasising the power of alliances, thorough preparation, and cultural awareness.
Users can engage in dynamic conversations with each chatbot, receiving personalised responses and tailored advice based on their choices. By blending historical wisdom with modern challenges, this scenario empowers users to build confidence, develop persuasive strategies, and take meaningful action toward pay equity in their workplace.
Near-Life’s AI Chatbot feature
The toughest challenge to creating this interactive experience was choosing only eight female figures. Creating the experience itself was quick and easy thanks to Near-Life’s AI features.

The campaign theme for 2025 is Accelerate Action. This means taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.
